We are looking for an Accountant to join our amazing Finance function based in our Foodora Denmark team. Foodora Denmark operates as a part of 9 different country organizations and is supported by a regional leadership team from Delivery Hero Europe based out of Berlin. In this position you will be a part of a Finance team of four people and in direct reference to our local Head of Finance, where you will be a key player for us to secure high level execution of all daily accounting related tasks.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading and actively participate in:

• Preparation of financial reporting (see accounting task list below)

• Overseeing and developing financial processes

• Creating and documenting process descriptions

• Overseeing and preparing income statements

• Managing financial transactions

• Streamlining accounting functions and operations

• Coordinating audit processes

  
  

Key Accounting Tasks:
All daily accounting related tasks (accounting activities such as bookings, accruals, clearings, reporting (local and group), reconciliations, payments, development projects). In more detail;

• Reconciliations of the balance sheet

• Manage fixed assets

• Take part in the billing to restaurant partners in collaboration with the rest of the Finance team

• Reconciling of PSP receivables

• Monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations

• VAT and other tax and CIT reporting

• Have a central role in upcoming process development

• Support the team and other stakeholders with ad hoc tasks and the monthly reporting

• Take part in Audits and Financial Statement Preparations

• Take part in monthly cash flow forecasting

• Preparation of intercompany invoicings

REQUIRED SKILLS 

• 3-7 years experience with accounting tasks

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g. accounting)

• Strong understanding of accounting processes

• You have a technical mindset and interest of system development

• Good Excel skills and accounting system knowledge

• Excellent Analytical and communication skills

• You are detail oriented, structured and organized

• You are a "do'er" - have a positive attitude and enjoy working in an ever changing environment

• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English. If you master danish as well, it will be considered a big plus

• Previous experience from working with SAP is an advantage
